Log-In Underwater

Here is the answer for those tech savy divers who want instant information entered into their dive logs.  Engadget recently report on an underwater keyboard water-resistant to 60 feet.    The keyboard works on wireless Bluetooth technology and only cost a mere $700.  Maybe my tech guy at Techlife might enjoy this product.

I can’t wait to see the next workstation.

a behind-the-scenes tour
a dive in Fisherman’s Hollow (fresh water dive with fish native to Minnesota lakes)
a dive in Sharks Cove (saltwater dive with about 6 species of sharks and other fish)

One thing …

Shark Diving

Chris Shott, ForbesTraveler.com reported in USA Today on some of the World’s Scariest Shark Dives.  You don’t have to be Jacques Cousteau to go scuba diving in shark infested waters.  Just ask his son, fellow sea-explorer Jean-Michel Cousteau: “I took the Duchess of York, who was afraid of water,” he says. “In three days, this incredible lady learned to scuba dive, put a chain-mail suit on, …

GlobeandMail.com recently reported how a small octopus, about the size of an orange, was captured attached to a porcelain plate.  The find was in South Korea and the discovery was dated to the Goryeo Dynasty, which ruled from AD918-1392 and was famed for its porcelain.  This little octopus led to a find of over 2000 items at this site.

You never know what you are going find underwater.  Let us know what …

Looking for Interesting Place to Dive?

Scuba divers David Bryant, 29, and Christopher Cook, 21, have one of the most unusual jobs certified divers can occupy: They travel around the country diving for golf balls at golf courses.

When they disappear beneath the surface of a golf course lake, they are gathering golf balls for a company called Springer Golf Balls, based in Santa Rosa, Calif. The …
