Wii Forever Blue is Out

 

Thanks to Dave at Techlife for letting us know that Nintendo has finally released Forever Blue in Japan.  Click on the link below to see a sample.  It is really cool.  Non-divers can really get a feeling for what we divers see underwater.  But to get the game, you will have to go to Japan.

Underwater Explorers

Engadget recently reported on Britain’s used of the Isis ROV unmanned sub to explore the depths of Antarctica.  There are other unmanned subs used to explore the depths of the oceans.  National Geographic and Woods Hole National Oceanographic Institute use REMUS.  UUV (Unmanned under water vehicles) are also used by the Navy for defense reasons.  Other unmanned submersibles can be found at NOAA …

In A Galaxy Far Far Away
