Belize Coral Threatened

What’s Happening to Our Marine Life?

What happening to our marine life in the oceans?  Fellow Shedd diver Bob Bienick captured this picture of a Hammerhead Shark on a recent dive trip to Socorro Islands 260 miles southwest of Cabo San Lucas.

New Species of Sea Anemones Discovered

This summer, while completing the second phase of a two-year broad scientific survey of the waters around the Aleutian Islands, scientists have discovered what may be three new marine organisms.
