The Key West Dive Center, the premier center for all things related to Key West diving and tours, will be offering special Fantasy Fest rates and trips for the hundreds of thousands of revelers who descend on the southernmost island of Key West during the last week of October. The center hopes to get more people away from the parties and bars for an afternoon and into the beautiful coral reef system off the coast of Key West.

“So many people come to Key West during Fantasy Fest and totally overlook the amazing water activities you can participate in,” says Key West Dive Center office manager Jenny Logrado. “We thought it would be a good idea to give people special Fantasy Fest trips at discounted rates to get more people to try a Key West scuba divin or Key West snorkeling trip.”

For people not looking to actually go diving but still want to get out in the water, the center offers various Key West snorkeling trips. These snorkeling trips typically last a full three and a half hours and include drinks, snacks, and gear.

Fantasy Fest is the largest annual event in Key West and lasts a full ten days. The Goombay Festival takes place during the first weekend and the festivities are wrapped up on Sunday, November 1st. The festival is known for its parades, parties, and all-around fun times. This year, the Key West Dive Center expects a large turnout in attendees and in people going on their various Key West scuba diving excursions.

Key West is known for its excellent diving opportunities due to its close proximity to various portions of the only remaining living coral reef system in the continental United States. Key West diving also has trips out to various shipwrecks including the very popular USS Vandenberg shipwreck.
