The Pueblo Chieftian recently published an article about one the lengends in underwater photography, Dave Woodward.  One part of Dave’s life I found extermely interesting is that he started the Underwater Explorers Society in Freeport, Bahamas. A couple of famous members were actor Lloyd Bridges (star of Sea Hunt), and rocket scientist Wernher von Braun.  After years leaving in the Caribbean and then Steamboat Springs, he has moved to Pueblo, CO.
