What do YOU Bring On A Dive?

If you are planning to go on a scuba diving adventure, you’ll want to be sure that you bring along everything that you need, or find out if the dive shope rents ALL the equipment you will need. Here are some of the bare essentials:
- Your mask. This is the one that fits you the best and fit is the most important thing to consider (unless you need an RX len).
- You will also want to make sure you bring along fins and snorkel. These are the 3 essentials, certified divers should have.
- The proper wetsuit for protection and warmth. It is amazing how quickly your body can get cold on that 2nd dive even in 80 degree water.
- If you have your own regulator and/or you will be more comfortable.
In addition, you may want to pack things like a first aid kit, repair kits, camera, dive light, knife or cutting tool or even anextra air source. For extra comfort bring along things such as sunscreen, hats, long sleeved shirts, wind breakers, towels, water and quick snacks. It will be easy for you to keep track of these things by making a check list to bring along. Also don’t forget to bring your C-Card, DAN card and log book.
Let us know what else you bring. Maybe soon we will publish a checklist for you to use.
