Another baby is on the way.  In previous articles we have followed the birth, naming and progress of Bella, the baby Beluga whale at the Shedd Aquarium.  We now know that Mauyak is pregnant.  You can view the ultrasound video.  Mauyak is somewhere between 9-11 months pregnant, and the gestation period is 14-16 months.  The Shedd is expecting the birth in early summer.
