News services around the world are reporting on the first artificial fin ever fitted on any dolphin, was done in Japan.  Check out Reuters video of the dolphin with the new fin. The dolphin is at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. This aquarium was mentioned in eariler scubaology.com article, Whale Sharks on Parade.  As a volunteer diver at the Shedd Aquarium, I am always amazed at how the vets and animalist care for the animals.  Looks like this aquarium is making a BIG SPLASH!
