I recently received an e-mail from Laura Hunter, Owner/Operator of ScubaWest Dive Shop in St. Croix, UVI. Get out of cold and snow and head down to the US Virgin Islands (where you DON’T need a passport), and ScubaWest will give you a FREE 2-tank dive if you mention their website.  While on St. Croix you can visit some interesting sites above and below the water.  Check out Estate St. George Botanical Garden or a 15-acre Rain Forest.  There is also Buck Island Reef, the only United States National Monument (they call it a “National Park”) that is underwater. 

Getting to St. Croix is pretty easy.  American has direct flights from Miami, and American Eagle flies to St. Croix from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Delta offers direct flights from Atlanta on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while United and Continental fly to San Juan or St. Thomas.
