Shedd Aquariam Honors Super Bowl Bears

Shedd Aquarium is saluting the 2006 NFC Champion Chicago Bears by remembering past champions and rooting on the city’s current Miami-bound team.
From Friday, January 26 through Super Bowl Sunday (February 4) 2007 - in honor of the 1985 Super Bowl Champs, the first 85 guests to Shedd Aquarium everyday will receive free general admission to the aquarium. In addition, all guests visiting the
aquarium on those days can register to win a ‘Trainer For A Day’ session for two. The drawing for the ‘Trainer For A Day’ package will take place an hour before kick-off of Super Bowl XLI.
Supporting the Bears’ current bid for the Lombardi Trophy, Shedd’s marine mammal trainers will don Bears jerseys during the marine mammal presentation, along with Shedd divers in the Caribbean Reef throughout the 10-day celebration.
Shedd Aquarium opened its doors in 1930 and shortly afterward, the Bears relocated to Chicago. Both organizations have helped to shape the city’s rich history and the grand lakefront - which they both call home.
Shedd is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. during the week and 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends and holidays - including Super Bowl Sunday - until May 28, 2007. For more information, please call 312-939-2438 or visit http://www.sheddaquarium.org/.
