Night diving can be scary to some, afraid of the dark are ya? You are out in the middle of the ocean and there is NO light except for the light of the boat. Then you drop into the pitch-black ocean. Hmmm, on second thought…

Seriously though, after a few seconds to let your eyes adjust, you turn on your dive light Diving in the vastness of any body of water, you lighten up the area around you. The best things about a night dive are the creatures you see that are not out during the day. The worst is what you cannot see. Remember if you go on a night dive to always have a back-up light and a signal sausage, which can be illuminated with your light.  I wonder if they make signal jerky too?
